This research-based book, Second Language Instruction with Linguistic Awareness, presents a study that examined the impact of explicit instruction in phonetics and the phonologies of English and Arabic on the development of sound production and recognition skills.
Hello and welcome to my personal website. I am an educational linguist, working at The University of Montana, USA, as an Assistant Professor of Arabic langauge/linguistics. I am also a curriculum developer in the process of writing first textbook on the sounds and letters of Arabic based on phonological awareness. My hobbies include web, graphic, and layout design. Currently developing Arabic language instructional materials on the sounds and letters of Arabic, which include a textbook, a teacher's book and an interactive DVD;
Participated in the Arabic Foreign Language Assistance Program (FLAP) in Washington, D.C., representing The University of Montana as the higher education partner with the Missoula County Public Schools - October 2010.
Attended and presented at the STARTALK Post-program conference in Atlanta - October 2010.
